The Florida State Baseball League isa Class A professional baseball minor league. The teams around Florida include: The Brevard County Manatees, The Clearwater Phillies, The Daytona Cubs, The Duneden Bluejays, The Ft. Myers Miracle, The Jupiter Hammerheads, The Lakeland Tigers, The St. Lucie Mets, The Sarasota Red Soxs, The Tampa Yankees and The Vero Beach Dodgers. Also, some of the MLB teams hold their spring training camps at the FSL team's facilities each year.

2004 marks the inaugural season for the Clearwater Thrashers. The Class 'A' Affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. A beautiful new ball bark. Philadelphia Phillies Hall-of-Famer Mike Schmidt has joined the organization's player development staff as the manager of this new ball club. Should be an exciting year in Clearwater.

A top level farm team where you can see up and coming MLB stars in the making. Jacksonville was actually the site for the first major league baseball spring training in 1888 as the Washington Statesmen hosted other teams in Jacksonville.
